A few things to know

Frequently asked questions

What does Clean Image Exporter do?

It creates a new image file from the visible pixels without copying the original metadata. You can also change the file format, adjust quality and choose a social media size preset.

Can it remove an “AI-generated” label?

It removes original embedded metadata, which may include AI-origin information. Platforms can also use other signals to label content, so removing a platform’s AI label is not guaranteed. Visible watermarks are not removed.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Both the website and extension process images locally in your browser. When you add an image URL, your browser retrieves that image from its original source.

Which formats can I export?

JPG, PNG and WebP. Quality settings apply to JPG and WebP. Choose PNG or WebP when you need to preserve transparency.

Can I export several images at once?

Yes. Add multiple images, choose your export settings and download the processed files as a batch.
